6 SARS volunteers led a CPR and defibrillation awareness session last Saturday in Leiston. The morning was attended by a group of 20 who learnt about the chain of survival, how to give CPR and operate a defibrillator. The session included the personal experience of former SARS patient Dave Cleland and his wife Bernie who helped saved his life by undertaking bystander CPR when he suffered a cardiac arrest. We will be holding more CPR sessions throughout 2022. If you are a member of a group or community who would like to learn this life-saving skill please get in touch with us via admin@sars999.org.uk
