We are delighted to announce that SARS has a new solo responder up and running. Volunteer critical care paramedic Joe Dowsing is on call for the first time today. Joe has been part of SARS for over 5 years now and has already made a fantastic contribution to the charity by helping crew team shifts on SMED20. Joe's hard work and generous donations from our supporters towards SARS kit and vehicle costs have made this new role possible. Joe will now join our group of autonomous responders who are mobilised to serious incidents within their catchment areas. In 2019, this group of dedicated volunteer clinicians offered thousands of hours of coverage in their spare time, helping treat many critically ill and injured patients across Suffolk. Good luck Joe and thanks again to all our supporters whose fantastic efforts have enabled us to increase our resources. We hope to have more good news on additional solo responders in the very near future!
